Did you see the game? He did everything but put the ball in the back of the net for Vasco! Fergie was just pointing that out. Uou can't say he was placing the blame on him because it was already there, he was pointing the obvious, almost like if a German said Aldof Hitler made Germany look bad, he's just pointing out the fact.

I just find it funny when he said he didnt see the third goal from Edmundo, because the damn TV shot his ass face right after the third goal.


Also Romario&Vasco coach have merits and Fergie is blind to see it.

They knew that Manu played using offside trap and that they use the goalkeeper almost as a sweeper. Thats why Romario would always run back towards the goalkeeper even on lost balls.

I was suprised to read Sir Fergie say he didn't see the last goal, he is the manager, he doesn't watch? Oh, well, what a disaster for the Red Devils. Could have used the Belfast Boy on this night(not me of course, Georgie Best)

Its hard to say what would of happened if it were not for those two mistakes by Neville, Vasco were crap in the second half but they would of played better had they needed too.

Also Fergie knows how good Romario, Edmundo etc. are as he talked about the skill in a t.v. interview in the UK, to quote "Romario may be old but great players don't lose anything in the head and he'll be as sharp round the box as ever and will be a real danger"

You must remember, he's just seen his team dumped out the tournament and now he's got reporters from all over the world trying to have a dig at him and make him say something that they can exagerate and make a story out off.
