View Full Version : English Team: Get down on your knees to brasilian football!!!
Honome 21-06-2002, 11:05:PM only one thing to say to the ones that were saying that engleng had the bet team in the WC so far: get down on your knees for the bet football in the world, the brasilian football!!!
england had only one chance in the entire game and it was in a big mistache by the defender...
where was beckham? ronaldinho shows that he's a marbelous player, makes an outstanding play in the first goal an the second goal i havo no comentaries... ;)...
all i have to say is that english team is now in their place: back in england for their ugly football... maybe someday you lern from we how to play the game!!!
Goodbbye english team!!!

I think the defender was clean shaven. You must be confusing him with David Seaman's moustache.
ronaldinho shows that he's a marbelous player
He was playing marbles? No wonder he got sent off.
Goodbbye english team!!!
It's ok for you. They're coming back home to the UK now, so us folks here in Scotland will have to put up with exaggerated stories for years about how "great" England have been in this World Cup.
ps. Well done Brazil and a big thank you from Scotland :)
bertkamp16 22-06-2002, 12:15:PM Will everyone PLEASE post threads like these in the PROPER forums. This is the ISS/WE/PES forum, not the Soccer forum. What the hell is so hard about that??

And whats wrong with that?, this threads ( football related or not) are for people playing Winning eleven ,who obvously have superior intelligence to other people.
About the game i am glad England went out, (no offence to english people ;) But i think it would be a really loss for football if a team that only scores on setpieces and on opponets mistakes ,would have advance to the bronce/final match.
I have nothing against defensive play, as long as they have something to come up with when they attack. ( like Senegal who have great combinations in their counterattacks )
But the way England have been playing is really silly IMO. Defending wiht 10 men , and like i said in attacking way only rely on opponent mistakes and setpieces.
( just look back at the goals England scored, and you will understund what i mean )
This problem would have been way more obvous if england would had been under wiht one goal in any of the other games they played.

sorry man, when i post that message it was about 6 in the morning here and i was just too drunk to find the right forum to post it... hehehe
i really should had post in another place...
and about my bad english i have the same excuse... if some of you had come home after a big celebration at 6 in the morning, a lot drunk and still had to write a message in another language i am sure that none of you would write it perfectly... well, at least i have something to celebrate, what about you? hehehe
GuileSN 23-06-2002, 01:36:PM Man, what a suffering... :crazyboy:
When Ronaldinho Gaucho got a red card I thought Brazil would have no more chance to win this game, but I was amazed to see that weak defense holding the powerful England's atack for the rest of the game !
I am Brazilian and I didn't believe in Brazil, but now I'm a bit more confident.. :)
Anyway, let's see what happens against Turkey..
Cheers

Not really. Give anyone 3-4 hours with any ISS game and they will most probably prefer it over any Fifa (Read: Curling) game they've played before. I've yet to fail with that conversion tactic. Just got another three heads converted yesterday. ;)
DsevenO 24-06-2002, 08:20:AM I can't believe England got beat by the "guy" from The Crying Game - a one-in-a-hundred free kick.

I always support my beloved Brasil , and I am not Brasilian, I knew with their skill and heart they would show some good brasilian futbol again :)
I agree with most of Scolari's decisions, I like his team decisions better than any modern day Brasilian coach , including Zagallo. Scolari is using a good a starting 11 and his tactical subs are excellent. ie, Denilson :)
From wat Ive seen , I'd be very surprised if Brasil dont lift the WC :D
