Everybody can say things about the referees except the Korean fan like you. You don't have the right to protest for whay we say.
Eyes from all round the world witnessing what's going on the pitch.
Saying rough words here in the forum like you reminding me how the Korean audiences booing the opposition players on the field.
The one should shut up is you.
robbo2000 23-06-2002, 11:50:AM what do u think about refrees during s.korea's matches

even the s.korean people know it but they don't have enough courage 2 say it but inside their hearts they know it and they say funny things like (a little bit of luck) u gotta check the brazil of asia thread:-puke:
this is never gonna end.
arguements like these are really annoying. If u ask me your all as bad as one another sometimes.
what has happened has happened and can't be changed . . . lets just give it a rest please  .

I go even further. To avoid all this fuss, FIFA should order the Korean team opponents to start the game with just 9 players and, above all, crossing with less than a 3 meters distance from the end line would be disallowed. Better yet, just forbid them of crossing the half line and give the bloody cup to Korea.
Maybe you'd shut up then.

good god you horny beast :(
Internazionale 24-06-2002, 02:27:AM To be honest, it's referees' or linesmen's decisions to do whatever they want. There are no such things that the loss teams can appeal with the results so far since FIFA don't use video-evidence replays during the match.
I agree with bk146, deal with the loss. :mambo:

You're right, nothing can change the results now, and the referees will not be improved or punished. They should continue to ruin matches and teams based on the benefits.
Day after day, match after match, referees (or maybe their bosses)will be the one who decide the winners.
So what's the difference btw football games and the WWF soap drama?
monkee 24-06-2002, 08:41:PM I was pissed at the decisions against Italy from Croatia to S. Korea. Then came Spain-S. Korea. I also think of all the games S. Korea have played and how many fouls they've given away and conceded. There's a strange catalogue of decisions that have gone their way, it's probably coincidence though. I don't believe there's a conspiracy but if, in 5 years time, I see headline news 'World Cup 2002 was fixed', I wouldn't be at all surprised.
By the way, the first four choices are the same number (which you probably intended :) ) so you can add those votes together and get an accurate picture of how the entire world views the antics of the officials in the Korean games. I wanted the Korean team to do well, now I want them out so refs will stop spoiling this World Cup. I don't blame the Korean team though, they're world cup performance will also be tarnished by these decisions.
Digitarius 24-06-2002, 09:41:PM You can't possibly blame the Koreans for playing football. The referee and assistants have made some shocking decisions, but they're not Korean though, are they?

This is a Blatter quote (translated):
What we have been witnessing in the last games, especially those where with Korea, has been hard to understand, in what concerns the referees and linesmen appointed by the Committee.
About what he had told the Refereeing Committee before the QFs:
I told them to choose the best referees, no matter their nationality and games they'd already been to. We couldn't make a mistake. I'm sure the message was understaood by the Committe, but it wasn't implemented.
