View Full Version : help me with registry settings...
Frostwolf 24-06-2002, 05:31:PM hi, i'd like to know if anyone can help me here.
once every so often, a message pops up when i boot up my computer... 'there was an error in your registry settings... please restart the computer to fix this problem'. so i click 'ok' and when it restarted a windows registry restorer (with a blue screen) came up and said it fixed my registry. I obviously thought well, its fixed now, but a couple of days later the same error happened again and again! my add/remove program window is cluttered with stuff i had uninstalled ages ago!my counter-strike cd key has to be re-eneterd! kazaa has to be reinstalled as it no longer detects my interent connection! its really annoying. can anyone help me?
use norton's win doctor . . . and when uninstalling programs don't delete shared files when u can avoid it.

Can't stop the rush... 27-06-2002, 03:04:AM You could always run regedit and change it manually.
Just make sure you are changing the right thing.:)

We formatted the computer 4 times now and it still does it! I use windows 98 (cuz my brother thinks windows XP sux) and I reckon it's win 98 that is causing it
Oh yeah, My brother is weird.... :monkey:
