Hey guys,

I am doing the UCL patch and I am having a problem editing the large flags.

Whenever I do the game crashes back to desktop.

Has anyone edited them sucessfully? Or does anyone have any ideas.

This is delaying the release of the patch. :(

I've successfully editted the large flags for my Canada WC 2002 Patch, but it wasn't easy. Instead of importing a Flag image to the existing Bigf0001.fsh, try creating a brand new .fsh image (obviously with the exact same proportions) and then importing it using GFXPAK into the data/enviro/enviro.big/purge.big/Bigf00001.fsh

This should work.

Thanks for the post I got it now, I was using the wrong method for importing.

I used this batch and it worked:


impbig /e data/enviro/enviro.big purge.big purge.big
Gfxpak -p purge.big Bigf1369.fsh Bigf1370.fsh
Gfxpak -p data/enviro/enviro.big purge.big

That'd do it.. glad I could help.

Btw, can i set transparency values to these big flags, that means will they appear transparent etc?

I do not think you can make transparencies, when I did it crashed.

My idea was to make large jerseys like in real life but could not get it to work :(

That's totally different from making it transparent... interesting idea though about the shirt.

I know, that's a great idea if you can get the transparencies to work. What I was responding to was saying that putting a face or other image on a big flag is different that creating transparencies so that it looks like a shirt.

I might give it a go to see if I can get it to work too...

Is it possible to import these big flags into FIFA 2002 though? Now that would be cool.

i think transparency can be set in the TPAGES etc. i remember GreyMana saying somthing about transparencies and RGB values.

Another solution would be to edit the flag's structure and make it like a huge jersey shape.

seriously, i didn't know how the "geylang" version surfaced to the net and to ECP. haha

and as for my project, it actually isn't a Singapore patch. It's a video between ManUtd and GUFC captured frm FIFA.
