Losing WC in 1950 to Uruguay here in Brasil.

Either one of those, but i guess the one from WC 74 coz we had a better team. But in 82 our squad was great good too... with the Juve star Boniek ;)

World Cup 74

Poland-0-1-Germany.
On that WC there were 2 group stages. After Poland won the first stage (:)1st Poland, 2nd Argentina, 3rd Italy, 4th Haiti) we advanced to a group with Germany, Sweden, and Yugoslavia.
If we won we wud be in the final :(
Most of you probably dont know, but we beat Brazil 1-0 in the game for the 3rd place ;) Poland had the best team ever at that time.

World Cup 82

Semi Final: Poland-0-2-Italy
(Later we beat France 3-2, and won the bronze again)
Funny thing is that in the group stage we also played Italy (0-0) and were first in the group.

We had a chance to be in the final twice :( too bad we didn't make it.

I think was a 3-0 caining Australia got by Uraguay in the 2nd qualifier for the wc this year.

holland-argentina way back in the 78??(74???) WC Final. I would make the goal abit bigger, that way we would have scored in extra time :)

Uruguay Vs Australia 2nd Leg WC quals..
or maybe even Australia Vs Iran.
Both times we were good enough to be in the WC, we werent neccasarily better then uruguay, but still good enough for the WC.
I think if we qualified against Iran, we would have qualified this time, because there would have been less pressure..

i wanted falkirk to win that game.......becasue i have a soft spot for them:(

Anyway i`d change the Scotland 1-0 England match at wembley to qualify for Euro 2000, and i`d change that save seaman made to a goal..for 2-0:mambo:

Egypt had tied 1-1 with holland 0-0 with ireland
and a draw would send us to the second round
it was really a sad day when we lost

If Inter could win the last match (01/02 season) against Lazio, it could turn my life into full of enjoyment. :(

Total Sports : College Basketball - University of Pittsburgh Panthers (lost,but they) would beat Kent State University in OT in Sweet 16 of the 2002 NCAA Tourney to advance to play Indiana in the Elite 8 then advance to the Final Four, and I would go watch it in Atlanta, Georgia.

Football: A tie between a recent Manchester Derby and England beating Brazil in this WC.
