I've got fifa 2002 for my playstation 2 and the game is fantastic.

I play an attacking 4-4-2 formation with Leeds United.

The only problem I am having is that the players that always score the goals seem to be a central midlfielder and the right winger. I've checked out the rest of the team and none of them seem to play in the correct position, although when you view your starting line-up, everything seems fine.

Its seems that once your playing the game the players are way out of position, I've gone through my team management and swapped alot of players around, but it seems I have to put one of my strikers on the right wing to get him to play in the striker position.

When I am passing the ball between my back four players, come of them are defenders and some of them are midfielders, the same in midfield.

Does anyone have any idea why this is? Surely it cant be because I have the side set to full attack!

I know this bug on my pc version of fifa ; when you organize your formation be sure to avoid this for the midfielders : that the left and right wing players position have small arrows around them ; if so , they will play like attackers ; and sorry it is a bug ...

for PC version it can be fixed by the EA official update 416, I am afraif that the only way how to minimize the probs on your PS version is not to use formations with wingers (as JFK wrote)
