I was at the Semi Final of the South Australian Federation Cup (SA's version of the FA Cup)... I saw the most amazing game... and the most amazing finish

After a dull opening to the game, Croydon took the game to the Raiders... however were unable to break the deadlock in the 1st 45 minutes.

The second 45 saw a completely different game, with the opening goal going to the Raiders in the 52nd minute after an error in attack by Croydon.

Croydon continued their attacking game and finally got an equaliser in the 86th minute.

The game went into Golden Goal extra time... which saw Croydon looking for a winner... the golden goal eluded both sides for the first period, but with 3 minutes to go in the first period, some 'blood' was seen by the referee, and one of the Croydon players had to go off and change his shirt... the player was not allowed back onto the field during the break, since no replacement shirt was avalable... after much abuse from Croydon fans (such as myself) towards the ref... the player was allowed back onto the pitch after 8 minutes of the second period of extra time!...

During the time when the player was off, the Raiders went for it and won 2 corners which they weren't able to put away... when the Croydon player was FINALLY allowed back onto the field, much to the jeers of the Croydon fans... Croydon went on the attack, the ball was played in from the edge of the area volleyed... hit the keeper... BICYCLE KICK...

GOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

This bicycle kick was better than the one in the World Cup!
