claodio lopez&sorin to man untd and veron going the other way:Lazio striker, Claudio Lopez: "I received a call on Thursday from a club director who sounded me out about a move to Manchester United. He said that United were very interested in me. I told him I was flattered by the news and to join up with Juan Veron again would be great. But he told me that Veron was part of the deal - he would rejoin Lazio and myself and Sorin will join United. The club have arranged for us to travel to England very soon to discuss terms with Manchester United."

Nesta: "I know that there is an agreement between Massimo Moratti and Sergio Cragnotti. I think the negotiations will reach a turning point during my holiday." he added: "Playing with Christian Vieri and Ronaldo would be the best, but I would have liked to have followed my friend Fabio Cannavaro to Juventus.”

Luque: "There is a good chance I will leave Mallorca. There are offers that are interesting myself and Mallorca, but I haven't signed anything. I want to make the step up this season, last year would have been a good time to go, but I wanted to stay for another year. However, now is the time to think about bigger challenges and to play in major competitions."

Rustu: "All this talk is flattering but the fact of the matter is if the offer from an English club is reasonable and Fenerbahce can sort out the fee, I will go to England. I love English football and I believe at a big club I can fulfill all my dreams. The stadiums and the fans are fantastic and the football is incredibly exciting. I know my English-based agent Pini Zihavi is doing all he can to make those dreams come true. And while it wouldn't be right to talk about individual clubs at this stage, I can say with my hand on my heart that the clubs who have shown an interest really excite me. I'm at the right age now to move and I realise if I don't do it now it may pass me by. There is nothing wrong with being ambitious. It's been a long time since a Turkish goalkeeper has played in England. And it would be nice to show people what I can do on the big stage."

Sikora: "It`s great to be going to English football. I always watch Match of the Day and I love the game there. It`s my dream come true.

Portsmouth chairman, Milan Mandaric: "We have lost a lot of money over the years. Ginola will cost a considerable amount in wages, and we must be careful."

Juninho`s father and agent, Osvaldo Giroldo: "He would love to come back to English football. There are a lot of comments being used in the Press which are not true. They have not come from Juninho. There have been dealings between Middlesbrough and Atletico, and Atletico have accepted the conditions. They now want to know if Juninho accepts the deal - if he doesn't, then he can remain at Atletico. But there has also been interest from other English and Spanish clubs and we are considering what to do." he added: "A decision like this is not made overnight. No deal has been done yet and we need a little time to look at the situation."
luis miguel to newcastle:
Luis Miguel: "Everything at the moment is in the hands of the Benfica directors regarding any interest from Newcastle United, but they have indicated that if a good offer came in I would have the chance to leave. He (Bobby Robson) is a trainer with great qualities and all the players speak highly of him. His experience has been great with his clubs. I have never had the privilege of working with him, but I know he is an excellent man-manager." he added: "I know Hugo (Viana) very well and, of course, I would love to play in the same side as him. He is a great player and it would fill me with pride to be in the same team as him."
hope this has interested you,all true!
