just to let everyone know:


like nearly everyone else in this forum i´m frustrated with fifawc2002 in the 2 higher levels (AI is cheating to win), so i decided to play iss on a free PS-emulator on my pc.

it took me about 2 hours to download and setup the emu.
it was not that complicated that i expected.

next step is to grab ISS. i´m going to buy it today. maybe in the next few days i´ll give you the details what happended to me...

started to play. first impression: graphics r really bad!
compared to fifa the ps graphics are really ugly, low polygons, no smooth animation.
tried some passing and shooting. tried some thru passes, but i couldnt work it out. i think i have to play a few hours more to get into the gameplay.
But i dont like the autochange of the active player. i hope i can turn that off.
going to options now...

ok now i´ve switched to iss pro evolution 2.
graphics are much improved, and gameplay is really great. lots of possibilities for passing and shooting. great balanced.

tried freekicks for nearly an hour (!) it was so much fun.

difficulty is hard IMHO. even on the "easy" level i only won 2 times against saudi arabia (lost 2 times and 3 times drawn)

hope i´ll get better.

but i like it so much i´ve to say its light years ahead from all pc fifa versions in terms of gameplay. animations are also better and more variations than fifa.

i think i will stick to iss2 for a long time, and i can recommend ePSXe with iss2 on a pc to every pc-gamer..

Welcome to the club reactor. I did same thing myself a while ago and haven't stopped playing it since. You will get better as you play more. Also, you have to stop playing it like you used to play Fifa ex. you can stick with one guy and let your other defenders cover for you. Give it time it will get better. You also have to think about your formations etc. Play with a better team against weaker teams until you get better. Good luck.
