I dont concider that type of music hard but you could listen to some Blood has Been Shed, Killswitch Engage, lamb of God, Nothingface, The hope Conspiracy, Unearth, Pantera, or The Red Chord. You'll probably either love them or DESPISE them. depends on your taste on the music.:D

Agreed. For hyper mental spastic thrash, try Carnal Forge. That sh.t gets me goin..also try some Strapping Young Lad, I suggest Carpe B.U.M. (Happy Camper). That song goes spastic for about the first minute, it's nuts..

Can't stop the rush...

That is if you want to listen to howling and growling. Nirvana's Tourette's may be nice as well. :D

MisH*The*Manc, I saw the QOTSA live last year and that was probably their worst gig ever. I had great expectations but I slept mid through their set (it was a summer fest).:mambo:

Anyway, if anybody is into calm, depressing songs to remind you how miserable life can sometimes be, try "Dosed" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's a song out of their new album. ;)

Oh, and The (International) Noise Conspiracy are coming here this summer. YUUUUUPPPPIIIIIII! :)

Manu Chao played this weekend in Portugal. He's da man. Just felt I had to say this.:p

If you mean that I listen to the radio b/c I'm too cheap to buy music..... then..... you're close.

I have money.... and I just lost about $40 some bucks today..... but I'm too lazy to go buy a CD..... and why would I.... when I have the ability to download full albums off the net.... Those damn bands make way too much money anyways....

Could you please elaborate on your statement??

When it come to Stoner Rock Kyuss are THE band to listen to.

John Garcia on the vocals has such a powerful voice, look out for the following tracks :-

*Supa Scoopa And Mighty Scoop (One of the greatest songs ever, IMHO)
*Demon Cleaner
*N.O.

When Kyuss split two of the members went on to form QOTSA, being Josh Homme (Guitar/Vocals) and Nick Oliveri (Bass/Backing Vocals)… I love both bands dearly and I cherish the day I discovered Stoner Rock :)

From their new album “Songs For The Death”, all the songs are amazing but I will recommend some for you;

*First It Giveth (My best Track)
*No One Knows
*Hanging Tree
*Go With The Flow
*I’m Gonna Leave You
*Mosquito Song

Their last album “Rated R” is pretty cool aswell, check out the following;

Auto Pilot
Leg Of Lamb
Monsters In The Parasol
Feel Good Hit Of The Summer

Once again I could go on, just check some of those out on morpheus/kazaa

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The best Stoner Band in England happen to come from Liverpool, you being a Liverpool fan might wanna check them out

They’re called Orange Goblin and are by far the best band in England ;) But with our World being based on commercialisation no one has heard of them, ****ing pop industry

Here are two direct links to their songs

The Man Who Invented Time (http://www.marksound.com/download/manwhoinventedtime.MP3)
Lunarville 7, Airlock 3 (Classic) (http://www.marksound.com/download/lunarville.MP3)

Anyway if you have a problem finding any of the songs just ICQ me on #107567307

Enjoy

Bush was there as well weren't they? I'm kind of getting into live music these days so I was wondering if Bush was there. Dave Grohl should have been electrifying and rocking all over the place behind the drumkit . I just finished watching a downloaded MTV programme where Kurt Cobain talks about Dave: "When he joined the band, he added so much diversity to the band. He had perfect metronome (spelling?) timimg and could hit really, really hard." Well I really agree if you just look at how he smashes the kit up it makes you wonder how many drumkits they went trough during a tour. Thinking about the after-concert "trash sessions" it's even more eyebrow raising. :)

Yes Bush was there :)

Second time I've seen them now. They did a gig in Manchester last year with stuff from Golden State, they were ok but I've seen better :)
