i hope he comes, he's an awesome player. van bommel may come with kevin hoffland aswell. kanu is probably going to be part of the deal but it would be sad to see him go. but the dutch duo would strengthen up the squad alot even though it is already strong

What the hell has Van Bommel ever done to deserve a transfer of that magnitude?

He would be a good signing, BUT, that price sounds way too high, its like Dacourt, he is not worth £16m

Van Bommel is not worth anything above £10 million. He is a decent player in the Dutch league, but playing for PSV he is surrounded by good players up against ****e ones mostly.

And whether Kanu agrees to leave is another matter.

Kanu will not go to PSV guys. The PSV Chairman has already confirmed that he does not want Kanu, and with Kezman, Bruggink, and Vennegoor of Hesselink already there can you really blame him?

You are well informed, there in the states :)
I think van Bommel is worth the money, as he has prooved in the Dutch team how good he is (think about his goal in and against England). Also in the UEFA Cup, away in Leeds he played well.

van Bommel would be a great addition to Arsenal but it looks like Arsenal dont wanna pay PSV's asking price. They already said that the offer of money plus Kanu was a joke. I hope he will make the transfer though.
