patch is good no doubt but it's not compatible wit xgx it screw up all my kids other than tha it'll be great to have it but i rather have xgx better now i cant delete the patch any1 doesnt show any uninstall 4 the sabotage patch real crap!!!

I had same prob, but installed the xg2.0 thingy, and it works fine now.

Done the same thing installed xgx2.0 whenever a match started the game crashed didnt work for me

i think the Xgkits are not better then mines ;) and you have all in one pack...

Can you replace the ad boards with others? Will that cause problems?

Elber can u help me please. The boots that are shown in the patch, i cant see them in the game, i can maybe see one , but thats all. The rest are the orignal one but in different colours, which bloody pisses me off. Can u help please? ta

hmm it seems that the roster hasn´t been installed correctly

go to your FIFA WC/data/cmn directory and delete the files which are in that directory

then simply install the patch again, it should work then ;)

ok this patch is messed because when someone scores or gets a goal i cant read who it is because they messed up the little world cup thing where it tells you who scored and the writing is black and u cant read what it says- u can only know who scored if u really know that team very well or if u were watching that little box with the players name in it

also another mistake is that i got netherlands wearing isreal's jersey as well as having isreal's flag waving in the crowd

hmm look in your data/player directory are there the kits.big face.big and so on ? if not copy them from your CD

and reinstall the patch

The Patch is tested and works perfect without XGK :cool:

Ugghh, Elber, i really liked the patch wne the xgk was still installed. because i could still play the game! It was great! But now i cant even play. I reinstalled and installed the patch, then the cinema patch, Now when its loading. And finishes loading. Soon after i get this stupid message! What does it mean!?


<edit> Uninstaleld cinema patch it crashes. Going to re-install again. :rolleyes:

the only thing i can say the patch works perfect with a CLEAN FULL FIFA WC installation !

because of the popup problem :

replace your data/popup folder with the original one on your CD

then reinstall the patch...

and don´t forget to look if there are the *big files in your data player directory :D

Elber i found the problem to my Wierd message.... It happends whenever attempt to play with my team Corea. Any ideas?

Take popup from the CD, remove the writing protection and install the Patch again ;)

Install nevertheless the Patch into another directory and take then from it popup and overwrite to your old ;)

I have played your FANTASTIC patch. It is simply unbelievable !!!!

But there is one little problem. What changes should I make to the soccer.ini file so that I can actually shoot and cross as well as the CPU does.

My shots and crosses doesn't seem to be powerful enough even when the power bar is at the maximum when I release the "D" key on the keyboard. The maximum powered shots are always low. How can I make the shots higher ??

I used to come across a patch that makes above changes which changes some values in the soccer.ini file.

Is there anyone out there who can help me on this ??

that means the players attributes are changed ;)

the greatest patch i've ever seen, it took 30 minutes to install, wow!!!

It is an exe file. If you install patch however into another directory, you have the individual things :)

Ok i d'loaded the patch and i thin i followed wat the readme file says and i realy wana play it but wen i start FWC2002 nuthin has changed and its the same, can some1 PLZ talk me thru instalation and anythin i might be doin wrong PLZ

you have to run ms dos programme after initial installation.

normally the installation will start automatically after clicking the OK-button !


Please check if you have a FULL 2002 Fifa World Cup-installation on your HARDDISK.

You MUST choose userdefined and mark ALL boxes when you install the game in order to be able to use Patches.

ok cheers, i fixed it and have been playing, the mod which is OK. The boots and kit work but all the faces are are still the same and NOT the ones u show on ur site, like beckham and all of the holland ones. y do u show it if its not there???:crazyboy:

look if the face.big,hair big and palyer.big files are in your FIFA WC/data/player directory- if not copy from yur CD and reinstall the patch ;)

Elber, I give you two thumbs up for this patch, it is absoluteley amazing to have all these features and updates in one patch.

I do want to add though if you make an update can you do an update on Clint Mathis's hair on the american team since he was sporting a brown mowhawk during the world cup.

Also can you change the rankings to what they were right before or right after the world cup.

I've just installed the match and after the loading screen of a new game, the game crashes!! can someone help pls?

I uninstalled fifa and then re-installed it and then put the pathc on, it works great!! i only found 1 mistake so far...thats that edgar davids dont hvae his goggles on and Beckham dont have his new hair, although still this patch is gr8!!! well done mate!:crazyboy:

Also, i'm not a big fan of the passing height of the ball. When you power is up full, it seems to blast at about head height, almost like a shot. Anyways to have the ball roll more along the pitch?


you can find a very small fixing tool at www.fifafx.de if you want to bring the radar back into the game (I removed it to make it more realistic ;) )
