I say scrap it. Write a jersey editing utility instead. I'd help you but I don't know windows graphics.

I have many jerseys that are using 5 colors but they can't seem to be converted because fifa2000 isn't using the same colors and they look distorded if I try. That would be something to add to you program.

Also, I'm sure with your knowledge you could make an editor.

i agree with Paul make a jersey editor instead.

Try to make an editor that can convert 99 files and use 64 colours. I know you can, I trust you.
Thanx, Israel Huertas

By the way, why not a roster editor ask Chau to make a new version of FED.

Perhaps you can allow another option to auto convert all team jerseys and referee kits on a single click. That would make things much easier.

I must agree with Israel, a new kind of FED would be truly welcome. FED99 was the best thing I saw for the FIFA series...
Any way the jersey converter is a good add on... just keep your good work.

Well, it's a nice help, but an editor like JEd99 and even a roster editor (like FEd99) would be nice, but don't forget to include this conversion.
BTW: 64 colors for jerseys is very nice, but it would be better if there wouldn't be any restriction to the amount of kits, no 50, no 64, but as many as you want. That would make the game as realistic as it even can get. Is that possible Tal? I know it's not possible with the .db files (one byte: 256, but EA takes 4 for one jersey, which means you can only get 64 jerseys), but what about the .dbi's.

Besides: Does anybody have any idea how we can edit those .dbi's (not the one's from the user-dir).

An answer would be nice! Thanks

Hi Tal
Im agree with the people who say you can make a kit editor instead of converter
i know thats very easy for you

to the people who are saying that we should make a new data editor what is the point with making one when u can change your player skill without limits

I think im going to make following programs:
Music Organizer(Add more music to fifa2000 without overwriting the originals)
Jersey Organizer(you can have uptil over 60 jerseys)

On this subject, I've seen a jersey editor in alpha form whicbh looks pretty good, or will do once its finished. I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to say anything about it or not yet, so I'll just say that its 'under development' to save me the hassle ;>

Hi Tal!

It would be great if you could make a new version of Sonique FSH or FSH Flash that allows us to edit the jersey numbers!!! There is no such program available yet that can open the shirt numbers (not even Sonique!)...

I'm looking forward to the new Jersey Converter which can convert the sleeves too!

THIS IS A ANSWER TO NARESH

I could give you a million reasons abou the need of a "FED2000" kind of editor...but I'm goone give just to because I don't have time to write more than that

A) Permanent changes

B) There are some reality freaks- like me- that don't accept the "strange" player value estimated by EA and would like to make a more realistic transfer system- and there is always some hidden skills that the preset fifa 2000 editor don't allow to change

C) and this is a kind of a bonus:
Did you know that some people can't use the normal editor because the computer just freezes ( normally people like me who have a RIVA TNT2 )?

Hi,

I'd realy like a util to search players through the club-database more easily, now it costs a LOT of time to find the player(s) I want to buy.
The search engine is the greatest 'problem' of all, it's soooooo inefficient, I just KNOW that could be done much more accurate

i would like that someone like you could make a Patch that replaces the US Commentators with the UK Commentators, or does someone know if such a Patch is available for download somewhere ?
Thanks.
