Yes it works, but only in the rest of the world and other countries categories, what you can do in your case is transfer all the players in Man City to Leicester City and vice versa, and change all the flags/kits in those clubs, along with thier name, you can also rename all the players in one club with the names of the players you want in that new club...

i hope changing the team name will not crash the game????? when i changed it using fed2002 my game crashed!! i hope it doesn't? does it??

From my experience, changing team names in FEd or FCDB XP does not crash FIFA....at all.
