Hi all

I'd like to know which video card has been used to take the screenshots for the 64 colour jerseys found on the news page. I have a Creative Voodoo2 8MB and the kits look horrible!!. Those screenshots show very detailed badges and sponsors, and I would like to know whether this '64 colour technique' would help jerseys to look better on my card (hope a tutorial comes out soon!!)

I find the voodoo 2 a great card. Maybe you are having trouble with it. I dont know the answer to your question. But I have a question to ask. In which directory do you donload all this stuff that youc an get from fifa2000.net?? Plz help!! You can answer here or in my topic question

So you have a Voodoo2 8MB and the kits look good (as shown on the screenshots) to you? Mine looks really bad, specially from a short distance. Also numbers on the back look blurry. Have you experienced this?

And for the downloads question: it depends. If you download jerseys (Pk*.fsh files) they should be copied in the 'data\player\textures' folder. Then go to the team editor inside FIFA and select the new jerseys for the correct team. If you're talking rosters (.db files), copy them into the 'user' directory. Anyway, there should be a 'readme.txt' or something along with the files you download. Hope it helps.

Well you guys, ya gotta play in a higher res. I noticed that when I went from a 800x600 to a 1028x768, the jerseys looked much, much cleaner and crisper. Trust me! ya need to get something like tweak-thingy

I think I can't go any higher than 800x600 on my 8MB Voodoo2 (am I wrong?). I've tried the tweak utilities and tried to run FIFA in Direct3D mode instead of Glide, to see if that helped. I ended up with a message telling there were not enough texture memory.

Anyway, I've seen FIFA2000 running on a Voodoo3 3000 at 1024x768 and it looked exactly the same (it ran smoother, though). I guess those screenshots have been taken using video cards other than Voodoo's. Anyone knows this for sure?
