I have K63 400, with 128MB RAM and Voodoo 2
runs very very choppy, Fifa 99 runs fine though, with very smooth framerate. I have tried the solutions mentioned on the forums with no success.

I have a Diamond Stealth S540 Savage 4 PCI card. The game runs choppy in 1024 X 768 mode. I have a P2 with 160 mgs of Ram. I can't believe it runs choppy with higher resolutions on my setup. Any suggestions? What tweaking can I do? Should I lower Hardware acceleration?

It would have to do with lazy codeing of the game, I would suggest that you have a look on the box in the system requirements before you buy the game. Fifa 2k does not have AMD K6-2 or even the new CPU K6-3 in the system requirements. i would also Email EA Sports and blast them for not bringing out a patch to enable Fifa2k to run properly with AMD cpu's

I have an AMD K6-2 333 and a voodoo3 2000 and i can run it in 1280/1024 with no trouble, but it can depend on the size of your monitor, a 14 or 15 inch seems to make the graphics choppy, as soon as i got a 17 inch last week i could put it on full resolution with no trouble, which seemed strange but it works! Also, try getting the latest drivers and the voodoo patch for fifa 2000
