PolishPower,
2-2 was the final score! Panathianikos dominated the game, and hit the post 4 times!!! It could have easily been 4-2! And the game was in Poland so the Greek Team has 2 important away goals. And I'm sorry but it is very hard to beat PAO in Greece.I knew this Polish team wouldn't walk all over PAO. Maybe it was just a matter of being overconfident,I don't know. But Panathianikos was the better side by far,and have the upper hand to qualify.
Bravo PAO!

Actually it was three posts. But what I don't understand is that Polish coach. Before the match he was saying that Panathinaikos was an easy team to beat. If it wasn't for two brutall errors from the Pana defence the score whould of finished 2-0. pana gave them a good shalaking. Then after the game the polish coach kept on living in his dream world and said that they should have won and that they are still the fravorites. Were does this guy come from? What does he eat? What kind of pills does his doctor give him. Apperantly he has become the laughing stock in greece. That's ok though, well take any free entertainment.

I did not see the game but it seems like Polonia was let off the hook a bit, 2-0 down and yet they come back to tie the game.
And who killed us in the 1st half, yes that man Warzycha still good after all the years?
For the 2nd game of course Pana will be favorite to go through(is it true they expect 50 thousand at that game? thats what press in Poland says). Though if I was Greek I would not be so confident, anything can happen...

PolishPower,
You are exactly right. When a team wins with a agg. of 7-4 they can always come back.PAO still need to play hard and serious. But then again PAO showed me alot in that game, the only reason Polonia scored 2 goals was mistakes by the Pana defense. And in Athens it's very hard to beat PAO. I am pretty confident that they will advance epecially the way they dominated that first leg.
PS You heard 50,000+ plus at the game huh? Don't be surprised if there's even more! Greek fans are crazy about there teams!
Oh yeah, and Warzycha played 1)because the usual starter Vlaovic wasn't fit,and 2) the coach thought it would throw off the Polish Team, and it did!
But lets wait and see.....

Sorry Chris but I must say it. Vlaovic is a usuall starter? Which other games did he start in? He just came to the team this summer and in the past year at Valencia he came on as a sub twice I think. Pana should of never signed him. The Saric and Souasa transfers are good ones but not Vlaovic. 50k +? I'm no Pana fan but thats an understatment. The olympic stadium is going to be jammed, I'd say 65000+. Good luck to PAO. I think now that the have there first official game under there belt things will be differentin the rematch.

Kostas,
I'm no PAO fan either, but Vlaovic is understood as the starter. I read that he 'was' gonna start, but then the coach put in Warzycha. I don't think PAO would spend all that money on Vlaovic to let him sit on the bench. Especially when all they have is a 36 year old to replace him.....
