Which games are you looking forward to?
1. FIFA2003
2. TIF2003
3. PES2

I am kind of looking forward to FIFA2003 to see if what EA's said in the press release are true knowing full well I will probably be disappointed after all, WC2002 was supposed to a revolutionary game. The same as FIFA2002. We all know the drill. EA can bull**** with the best of them. The best of the three will be PES2. I think that TIF2003 and FIFA2003 will be fighting for second place.

BTW, looks like FIFA2003 will have competitions on the best looking faces. Check this out:

Well, for me:

1. PES2- This would have definatly be my first choice, but since Konami isn't releasing it in North America, I'll stick to playing another great Konami Product 'ESPN MLS ExtraTime' which I think is miles ahead of Fifa2002/WC 2002 in terms of gameplay. I guess I'll have to wait and see if Konami brings anything to N.A. next year...oh well.

2. TIF2003- This is a game I'll definatly look into, I rented last years version "World Tour Soccer 2002" as it's called here in North America, and it wasn't too bad a game at all. There were a few things here and there which needed some work, but it was still a lot more realistic gameplay than FIFA...

3. FIFA2003- I won't even think about getting this game until I've played the demo thoroughly. If it's lacking in any area, especially in the things EA claims they've improved on like the new game engine, dribbling, shooting, etc...then it can stay on the shelf where it belongs.

Here are some more info on TIF2003. Finally some kind of career mode (dynasty mode) in a footy game. http://uk.playstation.com/features/featureStory.jhtml?storyId=102229_en_GB_FEAT&linktype=FT3

My first and only choice will be PES2, no doubt.
I play PES every day and enjoy the gameplay everytime over and over again.

I don't believe EA anymore about their "improved games", they very much look like bad politicians, promising tax-cuts everytime

PES2 for sure. Better gameplay, lots of innovations. :)

TIF2003. This game is not really that bad though.

FIFA 2003. Don't even think/care about it.

I watched Winning Eleven Six Movies and I was dazzled... the graphics was great and it looked realistic.... no tumbling tackles. Great passes and great goals... the cut screens looked realistic no more stupid slow-mo stuff if goal doesnt matter player doesnt even celebrate.... man! Why couldnt they release it for computer?:(

I think the problem lies in Microsoft and Sony.

Perhaps Sony signed a deal with konami (sports) to make the game for Sony consoles to boost their console sales. Most of my friends buy the ps2 for this game.

However, more konami games like metal gear solid 2 are coming to the pc.

Totally agree!

I uninstalled Fifa 2002 IMMEDIATELY after playing WINNING ELEVEN 6 in my friend's home. Except the shooting part (people don't need much step before shooting), WE6 is perfect.

shooting in winning eleven and iss/pes series... let me give u guys a tip:

simply tap the shoot button once... when one-on-one with GK.

tap meaning pressing the button and let go in 0.1 seconds ;)

Err, there are no PES2 or WE7 vids on the web right now. Those are WE6 vids. There are screens of PES2 at www.pes2.com and there is little if any news (talk less of vids) on WE7

In the US:

WTS 2003 is the way to go. WTS 2002 is the absolute best soccer game out in the US.

Fifa 2002 WC 2002 are a joke in comparison.

I just wish PES2 would come out here. Everytime I have played it I realize what an *** selection we have here.

The MLS ExtraTime games suck. I traded that one in for a PSone kiddies game for my little nephew.
