Does that look like PES2 screens? They look very...unpolished!
They are not from we6 that's for sure!

LOL You're right, those screenshots look poor - that's gotta be work in progress.

mmmmm, they look very bright as well. and the ball, its tiny!

but it looks like argentina's name are fixed, but brazil still have Larcos etc. and the umbro logo is on the shirts now and it has the proper england shirt!!! so that probably means every other umbro shirt will be proper. and i dunno, the players look a lot rounder than before as well, i think i like them though, but i agree it all looks very unfinished.

Or whatever they used to capture them SUX! But I believe that those are PES2 screens. I see we are back to the thinner player models (as usual with the XPEX line of games).

i think the players look "fatter" if anything, especially if u look at the michael owen screen

Hmm..WE6 uses Renderware developer for the graphics.
PES2 maybe uses different developer in the UK.

Nah, the middleware will still be the same. After checking out the screenies again I think the_man hit the nail on the head - it's probably the poor capturing software/hardware that makes the screens look shoddy.

They do look thinner. KCET is obviously not feeding the poor players. I heard when Kanu turns sideways you can't see him anymore. :)

Mmmmm the screens look OK, not as smooth as PES but I'm not to worried about that until we see the final build of the games. The one thing I do like is the fact that the colours are much much brighter. This is a critism of PES that I have, the colour pallete is just far far to dull. I don't know if anyone else thinks that.

Are the colours in WE6 any brighter or are they the same.

It says on that site that they are receiving a beta version of the game in a short while. Should be out all over the net in no time then. ;)

There are videos posted there as well, but they look suspiciously like WE6. One of the stadiums in one of the films looks like Marseilles stadium though, I can't recall that one from WE6 ...

They're here, under "filmer":

Edit: Forget about the vids, they are WE6, the stadium was just the one in Asia. Commentry and names are japanese, so no PES2 live footage just yet.

Anamorphosis, I was not able to play those mov-files on my Windows Media player (for XP) and after downloading DivX, things still didn't work.
What movieplayer do you need for this?

Quicktime plays *.mov files. (www.apple.com)

No need to watch it anyway, it is definitely footage of WE6, not PES2. :)

Indeed, there is something strange about those screenshots..
It looks like they cut out the players from somewhere else and sticked it on the backgound... Maybe these are no real game-screenshots, but composed ones....

Can it be some alpha/beta version of the game where graphical details are not there yet? Also, if you look at the one with free kicks, there're many imperfections like the super-sized captain armband as well as Japanese slogans on the stands (i don't recall seeing Japanese slogans on PES)... It sure looks different to PES/WE6.
