Pat Ewing (11 times in all star game) and one of the 50 best players ever agreed with Orlando Magic and ended his contract.
He had not decided if heŽll retire or find another team to play the next season.
Ewing debuted in NBA in 1985 with NY Knicks, in 1999 he joined Seattle Supersonics and Orlando was so far his last team.

God I hope he retires. It's just sad to watch him go out and play now. The once great player is just bad.

Ewing should sign with the Knicks then retire. :)

Pat's glory days are very far behind him. He should leave asap, if he wants to keep some dignity. He wants a ring real badly, but a great player always knows when to quit.

Yeah, and look at poor old Hakeem too. Their knees just can't even support them anymore, but they keep playing. I hate seeing it.
Can't stop the rush...

All those years of failing to get the Knicks a championship has taken a toll on him I think.:(
He also is getting old too.:D

I read yesterday that Ewing put an end to his career.
Now one question pops in my head: WHY didn't he play in the finals for the Knicks back in 99? Yes, playing injured at his age would mean the end of his career, but he was already losing his qualities pretty fast and that was sort of a one shot at the title. He prefered to watch in the bench his team losing and the Knicks didn't like the atitude - he was traded in the following post-season.
