In a previous thread i said that morale form(arrows) was random(the_man brought that question). Apparently i was wrong.
I did an IL with France and i notest an interesting thing:

-every time i sub Zidane( normally 15/20 min before the end of the game) in the next game he would have at least a green arrow. I even had 4 or 5 consecutives games where his morale was either orange or red!
-when i kept him the entire game(2 or more games in a row) in the next game(s) is morale was blue or grey!
Could this be a coincidence?(don't think so cause i'm doing another IL, subbing Zidane in every game and his morale is allways green/orange/red)
Also, i noticed that some players that i kept almost all season(defenders and some midfielders) wouldn't be affected(normally green arrows). But they rarely had red or orange arrows.
So i think that morale isn't random after all, and it affects the most important players(might have to do with his mental attribute...).

What do u think?

What you told sounds like fitness is linked with morale, did you check that? So is a player with lower fitness happier when he was changed in time because of his fitness?

Basically yes. I've been doing this with some players for a while now.
But not all of them react the same way. I think that might have to do with stats...

Yes it is to do with the stats,it all depends on the players STABILITY stat, thats what i think.I think its not their morale but their fitness 4 the game, you'll will notice the fitness bars go down much quicker with a grey arrow etc.

I checked the mentality stats of the french team and found out some interesting things:

Barthez-65: low mentality; i remember that i had to take him off the team twice(2 games in a row!) cause his morale was low(grey).

Henry- 86
Anelka- 62
Trezeguet-73 : normally i play with Trezeguet and Henry cause they have higher morale. Also, i don't sub Henry a lot cause he's not usually "unhappy"(blue/grey)

So i'm almost sure that mentality has to do with morale. I just don't know why i have to sub Zidane(mentality-75) on a regular basis to keep him on high morale; maybe cause he is a key player or because is the captain:confused:
