Instead of making a general football site, why don't you make a site dedicated to a specific club, one that doesn't have millions of sites already dedicated to it (so no Man Utd. or AC Milan site). You like Birmingham, right? That would be a good club to make a site for..

btw, did u know that www.xtratime.com provides free hosting and domain name to football sites that fit ther requirements? U should check it out, you'd get a lot of traffic too getting linked at Xtratime..

How are you going to accomplish anythign in life if you suck at it first and say y bother right after......I want to one day have a beautiful site like soccergaming itself. What would happen if everyone said y bother. I am sure David Beckham wasn't that good the first time he touched a soccer ball now look at him!Imagine if he would have said y bother then he would have probalby be on the streets or soemthing who knows!
Ayway going on thankz shinji for the site and idea.I think it's a very good idea.But I don't know all that much about the smaller clubs.Lol and the smaller clubs are where not alot of people have sites.I could try doing that.Thankz for the idea man!Anybody else have any ideas..My thought was sort of the same as shinji's except with a player...What do you think?

I would also suggest that you get some better free hosting, rather than the one's that put tons of ugly flashing banners all over your site....the best, most reliable free hosting is Geocities and Tripod, only thing is they put a pop-up on your site, but that's easy enough to make go away.
