why dont they make you pay with a credit card or something and let you download the game off the net since everyone nowadays have at least a cable modem i mean this would be good for america since some games dont come out here and soem games dont come out there?

Well if you can download the game then what's stopping one person from buying it and putting it up on kazaa for eveyrone else to get for free. Atleast with buying the cd people have to fight through various protections.

Some people aren't rich enough in America. Middle - High Income could get a cable modem easily, while others don't, like me. I use this PC at my college (open 24hrs), never have it at home. :(

U have a good point there, mate. Sometimes I never imagine how come such a good game never release in the US [WE, Age of Empire (PS2), etc]. It's damn crap !

Why don't just put a protection on the downloaded games.... They could give you a code and if the code doesn't match it will never work.... There are so many solutions to that problem. Companies are just lazy....

Some companies actually do this. I bought Baseball Mogul 2003, and they let me download the game and use that until the CD came in the mail.
