Since Schmeichel01 comes from Walton on Thames I was wondering what has been happening in the town lately since the focus has been very much on Soham and the two girls who were sadly murdered. Milly Dowler has been missing for five months now and the police seem no nearer to solving the case.

Well they have actually,they have charged the caretaker with the murder of the two girls and he he currently sectioned in medical facility i believe,his girlfriend is still being questioned though.This is a really sad event

As for the Milly Dowler case, there is no new news. They have not found the body yet, nor any new leads, looks like whoever did it got away with it.

Sad as hell, I did not know her, but you can see changes in the town, you hardly ever see kids walking alone. Even during the day, kids on the high street always have an older brother or parents with them.

For about a month after it, I was a bit spooked walking home from the station, cause I have to use the road she was last seen on.
