I read in BGamer that Fifa 2003 won't have portuguese league and some other leagues!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because the portugueses and other, failed to negociation to put that leagues!!!! BUT WHAT A STUPID EASPORTS ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope that the best creators of faces, kits etc will make a portuguese league!!!!!!!!! Can anyone help me???????

Besides, if there's no Portuguese league, then it was probably our own fault. The FPF probably wanted too much money to sell the rights, in true Portuguese fashion :rolleyes: Our league is a joke anyhow, we can't even get one team into the Champions League :mad:

Excause me, is it true that the fee that EA needs to pay for the FA are very expensive? And there are no real players in FIFA2002 are cause by that reason?

sorry don´t agree with you i don´t think our league rights cost more then the english, spanish or any other in the game i think EA dosen´t give a dam about other leagues they just don´t want to work mutch and in the"true EA fashion" they just want to make money without to mutch trouble and costs.

i think we deserve the league in the game

I think EA overlook the Portuguese League you know, TV channels, magazines always coverage about EPL, La Liga, Serie A, bundesliga, so there are not many people knows about Portuguese League......:(

I think EA are making the best leagues, and the leagues they can get licenses cheap. It seems that EA cannot get the right for portugal league cheap so they arent going to pay a **** load of money so they can include a league that only a small percentage of fifa players will use.
EA has had problems with the dutch league in the past for the same reasons, although the dutch league is more popular.

Guys, you're all speculating. We don't know exactly what happened, whether it was EA's fault or not. I'm not even sure that our league isn't on FIFA 2003.
I guess we have to wait a bit more to be sure.

anyone know? I know that no portuguese teams are in the Champions League, but they are well represented in the UEFA cup. Also, the champion of the portuguese season this year (probably Benfica!) will get an automatic place in the CL next year. Anyway, has anybody heard anything?

i'm not 100% sure on this, but i dont think it will be in the game . . . theres talk around a few other threads of this.

as far as I know no there wont be portuguese league.but There's Turkish super league!!

looks like i will have to rent the game before buying it. if there are no portuguese clubs I will not buy the game nor will many of my friends. Porto, Boavista, Sporting and Benfica should be in any football game.

according to the interview in Megascore with Rory Armes there will be no Portuguese league, though it still possible to have some Portuguese teams...btw probably there won't be any Euro 2004 by EA due to the poor sales of Euro 2000.

hey i bought Euro 2000 and love it. The only reason it didn't last was because noone made an editor for it. I still think its better than Fifa 2000 or 2001 in terms of national team play.

It had every European nation with full rosters, even for Leichenstien. I sure hope there is a Euro 2004 and i dont see why not, EA will still make millions of it, even if its not for sale in North America.

guys i think if both the portuguese and dutch league are not in its becuase EA are just too cheap to spend thier money.. i mean even World Tour Soccer had the Dutch and Portuguese leagues.. so why can't EA.?? hmm something to think about...

also i read that TIF will be having Brazil,Argentina and Mexican Leagues.... i think i will buy TIF when it comes out...


o yeah and EA know they don't need those 2 leagues cuz as long as they put some nice graphics they know they have u hooked.. i've seen some forums and people are already saying they're gonna buy the game when the 1st screen shots came out... u see.. well guys don't be fooled..

and i think the reason EA have not made such a big fuss is so when every one finds out how cr@ppy this game is EA can just say they never really promised u a great game...:kader:

other think i can not understand its the "problems to negociation"
of other leagues like dutch portuguese and other good leagues, becouse i don´t think england, italy and spanish league are easy to negociate. the deal is EA are cheap motherfu***rs. problably you guys wore happy if fifa2003 just had real madrid and mancester United. they are in theory the teams that bring more fans to play fifa right?
