If you pay $150 you can see the entire Euro 2000 tournament live! But that's not the case. Almost every day there are two games going on at exactly the same time. So frankly, you can only watch one of them making the tournament to only 15 to 20 games. And if that was the case then just one game would cost almost $20 and not only $5 like they said. So now if you think about it it is not really worth it!!! Also if any of you have Univision, they will transmit some of the games live and some replayed. http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/frown.gif
C ya later!

Only the final round of group games are simultaneous - which means there are four matches which you cannot watch. My impression of the Directv package is that they will show 4 live and 4 on delay during that round. DTV is advertising that the pay package will include 31 matches (that is all of them.)

Fox Sports World/Espanol will show (I think all) matches on 7 day delay. Fat chance I am going to wait that long for the matches. (You can't avoid results on this Forum within minutes of a match being over!!!)

Cheers

Wait a minute! It says 31 games for 150 dollars so if all they play is 31 games then you will get to see all the games, so don't spread dis-information.

Drinky "all the free games on BBC" is that mean only the games England play in?

Firstly, to all of outside of the US,

Rejoice in the Ample and Free coverage of Euro which you will see in your countries. Kudos to y'all. But to reiterate, for private "consumption", the Directv et alia pay package is the best we have in this country. (All 31 games!) If you wish to wait for a freebee, and have FSW/Espanol, they will replay 28 of the matches on 7 day delay. Univision will show the other 3.

And Fotbolguy,

I went to your web reference, and yes, Setana has the same schedule with which I cross-referenced my other 3 schedules of the tournament - I don't know what you were looking at, but it is just as I stated earlier: ONLY THE THIRD AND FINAL ROUND OF GROUP PLAY WILL HAVE SIMULTANEOUS GAMES! Over three days, this makes for four conflicting matches. I assume that the PPV providers will show one live and one on delay in the case of those eight matches (Unless they are guilty of false advertising.)

But hey, you can always watch the three matches on Univision a week late. (I think they might even show one of the quarterfinals......)

Just one, minor correction to the above sarcastic, yet factual rant - apparently, the 3 Univision matches are SDD, not 7 day delay.

Cheers.

$150? See if you can get some cheap, last-minute tickets to the UK, I'll put you up for free, and you can watch all the free games on the BBC (and maybe ITV - their coverage is awful). Deal? http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

Duke thanks for that rant, and apparently Univision games will be on one hour delay...

I went over to www.indemand.com, the payperview network andin their schedules it shows like 7 games being played at the same time. They transmit the games over 2 channels and they are going to play them at the same time. This makes me think that they won't even show replays. I wish i still had my satellite signal working right now!

Polish - The BBC and ITV divide all the games straight down the middle so every single game is shown live - not just the England games. For example, the BBC will show all of Slovenia's games - ITV are screening all of Denmark's etc.

Schumacher - if you can find 'Winchcombe' on a map of England, and you're coming by, please drop in http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Howdy all..

I have a satellite dish that can pick all the free-to-air satellites around the world...

i was wondering if you could name any free-to-air networks that are showing EURO 2000 (any country in any language!)

this is much appreciated!
