Has anyone here tried Gnutella ? I am going to download it but I would rather know if it is worth it before using it.

Napster is becoming irritant, and they are disconnecting me at random times. Their servers are becoming very unstable. Also, they are being sued by record companies.

Following the downfall of Napster, free file trading will be continued by another similar program, or may be restricted only to IRC. I just need to know if Gnutella is worth it.

i haven't used gnutella, but if you're finding it hard to connect to napster then use napigator and connect to one of those servers.

Thanks a lot. I tried out Gnutella today and I think it's a decent program, but kind of hard to connect to their servers. I think I'll stick to that and give up Napster soon.

Napster is qucker 7 it's easier to use.
but it's getting sued to many times. & when u wanna D-load Metalica songs u have to put them itto diffeent folders or the moniters will come & Band u for life . Like what happened to my friend.

That's easy to take care of though. If you are experienced, you can take out the entries from the registry that Napster has made on your computer. If not, then there is a crack available that can take care of that for you. I happen to have it http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif But I've never been banned. Napster just sucks lately. I've been disconnected too many times lately and the program just doesn't respond like before. Gnutella is good, but gives me too many blue screens and almost trashed my system when I rebooted.

yeah, napster is really slow and my songs keeps getting to 80 or 90 % and thres a transfer error.
