for Fifa 2002 (PS2) you can only use the joystick and not the pad on the controler which is a pain in the arse for us traditionalist's. you can use both the pad and joystick in every other ea game, why not this one?
if anyone from ea ever reads this (which i highly dought) then please change it.
if anyone else has this problem who prefers the pad then the secret is to use a PS1 controller. for what ever reason that controller will allow you to use dhte pad.

Marco, if you don't have a sensible response to the thread then please don't post. We don't have many Portuguese posters on these boards, so let's not start arguments between the few that we do have...

no thtas not correct you can use either the joystick or pad . probably u have the light on when playing. in other to use the pad push the red button

Hmm...I never noticed that before when I rented the FIFA WC 2002 (PS2) last June. :jambo:
I think most gamers now are used to using Analog sticks rather than the pads. I never used the pads about 2 yrs ago.

yup, with analog, you can play with 16 directions in fifa, in pads, u can only use 8.
