Here are EA's rules of football as I see them:

San Marino is a better team than France.

They can do whatever they like to you in the box, but if you so much as LOOK at they ball its a penalty.

Corner for them = GOAL

Keepers NEVER save corners. It doesn't happen.

However, keepers can save bullets from inside the penalty box 99% of the time.

The best way to score is not by skill, but by booting the ball down the field and having a mad dash to the ball.

Every player on the Belarus and Bulgarian national team are 10X faster than the combined speed of Ronaldo and Michael Owen.

Shearer,
I agree with you completely,
Do u remember Track and Field for the NES - where u had to smash the B button like mad to make your guy run and that was the main 'skill' component of the game? - Well that's what Fifa2000 reminds me of, get the ball then smash the speed burst button like mad get into the box, shoot, score - repeat until u get bored (ie 2 minutes)....
