I'm not a Maccabi Haifa fan (and that's an understatment)
but I feel I should say it:
sure the gap between Man U and M haifa is huge,
still Haifa looked shocked all through the game,
they didn't play aggrasive, didn't saw any tackles,
it seems like they're standing, watching and applausing Man U moves...

very weird... cause M Haifa is better then she performed in that game.
I guess that first time in the CL, and first time at Old Traford

Yeesss! That's the best I've seen United play in a while. Ruudy looks sharp, that finish was sublime, Seba had a good game, Becks was everywhere and Diego finally got that monkey off his back! Save for a few lapses at the back, that was a great performance - Bring on Spurs!

Yes the infamous Maccabi Haifa I remember last year they were disqualified from the UCL qualifiers when they played a player who wasn't eligble to play against Finnish champions FC Haka.


Well Maccabi are a good team & they've shown that! Israeli football isn't all that bad but making the away trip there must be a bad experience to say the least!

I think that's more than just a mistake. He's the coach, how the hell doesn't he know his team's opponent in the CL!? Didn't he study the team? Come on, even FC Infesta studies their opponents!

Studying the opposition is the most basic thing any football team can do. And yeah...its not only the coach involved...its the whole squad that studies the opposition. So if Furgeson could mistake Maccabi Haifa for Tel Aviv then he isn't fit to do the job. Its not like they watch the team on ESPN and go out and play them the next day like a freakin CM game. Theres a lot of thought behind each move the manager makes for any specific team. And no team can be taken for granted..let alone the ones in the CL. This ain't an EA sports game u know....

Dude we needed a defender more then ever. Rio's a great signing and he will prove himself over and over again. To be honest I think that we needed another defender. That Julien Escude would have been great to have had at Old Trafford. Now it seems like we need another midfielder, because we have so many injuries, but I think we've got more then enough. We've got 6 great midfielders and some young talents coming trough. The striker position is a bit disputable. Recently we've been playing with 2 strikers (hail fergie!) and there's only one back up, that is indeed quite few. But last season we had the same. There was Yorke but he never played.

once their injuires problem is easy off then i think they will slowly come back... but for the time being things don't look good...
