The English Football League has ruled that Leicester City were within their right to sack Dennis Wise.

At least some footballing body has some common sense.

Yeah the incident happened while LFC where on a pre-season tour of Finland. If I remember correct, a group of LFC players had gathered for a game of cards & a row broke out between D. Wise & Davidson. This resulted in Wise punching Scotland NT player Callum Davidson who ended up with a broken cheekbone.

One of the players apparently said to Wise that, "Nobody likes you" and all of the players at LFC wanted Wise out of the club. His relationship with the club & it's players/supporters broke down & he was forced to move on.

It remains to be seen if anyone is interested in D. Wise as he has had his fair share of bad publicity over the past years.
