Hey guys...
I've been putting different after goal songs and sounds in my game. I know they go at 2gogen#1.str. Now can anybody tell me what files to replace if I want to add intro music, halftime, after game sounds and songs? In short...what do all the files mean that are in the "music" section of the audio file?

What you have been doing is a function of FifaFX, just in case you didn't know.

Ok, here it is:

2egtie?1.str - tie game music
2egwnh?1.str, 2egwnl1.str - win game music
2ehexh?1.str, 2ehext?1.str, 2ehgen?1.str - half time music
2embiga1.str - I think this one is for an important game.
2gobic?1.str - This one is probably for an important goal.
2gogen?1.str - general goal music
2gonot?1.str - notable goal music (e.g. pulling one back to 3-2 from 3-1.)
2goown?1.str - self-explanatory really.....OWN GOAL!
2ingen?1.str - introductory music
2pfoul?1.str - foul music
2pkint?1.str, 2pkkwn?1.str, 2pkpwn?1.str - penalty kick
2rchia?1.str, 2rcinj?1.str, 2rclow?1.str - red card
2sbone?1.str - substitution (one sub)
2sbtwo?1.str - substitution (2 subs)
2ychia?1.str, 2ycinj?1.str, 2yclow?1.str, 2ytrca?1.str - yellow card
s??.str - menu music

In .\FIFA 2002\data\audio\sndmisc\strloop:

strcrd??.str - chants

if you want to convert sound files to str format, you have to download fifamania music manager from fifamania

never mind! FifaFX is easy and fully automated! Give it a try, everything is clearly explained in the manual!
