I happen to be getting back to the UK for a few weeks starting next Saturday.

I rely on these bi-yearly trips to re-stock on all things football. (Latest Toon kits etc....) http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

I wanted to ask you what the hottest football PC games were in the UK. Anything new? I rarely have time for them, but I have been playing CM 99/00 quite a bit recently.

1. New Toon Away Kit is out 14th July, (black with blue trim). Home kit remains the same but sadly the Brown Ale logo is being replaced with the new NTL sponsorship logo, (not available yet). I remember when the last sponsorship deal changed. We all went out and bought hideous iron on Greenhall Whitley patches. New change Keepers kit also available.

1. Dixons are selling Euro 2000 for £14.99. It is basically Fifa 2000 with fatter, scarier looking players. I cannot play it as I own a Voodoo 3000 and it is really, really jerky. No I don't fancy an epileptic fit, but thank you very much for offering EA.

2. Try Euro Leaugue Soccer GAME are selling it for £14.99 at present. It is a mix of arcade and full management. Not fifa or champ manager but still fun and for £14.99 a bargain.

3. Are you going to Newcastle, if so check out St. James Park. I am led to believe it is almost complete. As an exiled Geordie I haven't been up since February and it was looking like a building site then.

It's a shame they're getting a new sponsor, I always thought the Newcastle Brown Ale was the most 'appropriate' sponsor. http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

They might just regret it Neutral. Newcastle were relegated last time they ditched mystic powers of the famous Broon Ale badge. Sadly Newcastle wanted megabucks for shirt sponsorship and NTL had just bought 9.9% of the club in the mass media purchasing racket of late. Once again love of money over-rules all else.

Thanks for the advice.

BTW, I hate it too.

But money means more transfer funds and more transfer funds means new players.

If it will help Newcastle get a Premiership title, then I don't care who the sponsor is.
