I recently bought a pair of indoor boots, when I saw them in the store I thought they were the predator manias. But it just so happens that I bought the Manado Indoors, I have no problem with this since the two are almost identical except for the tongue.
My question is wht does adidas make so many variations of the same boots? I mean they have the Manado and the Manic which are both based on the predator mania design.

All the boots I mentioned are Adidas and my boots are made by adidas, I just wanted to know why so many varieties of the same boots are made......

The cheaper priced ones are crappier. The expensive ones use higer quality leather and are generally better.

Thanks, the cheaper ones may be crappier, But its for Indoor soccer and they still look good lol.

True but I also think that Adidas has to reconsider their pricing. If you look at those boots Beckham/Zidane is wearing at the moment they're like over 200€ or 140pounds that is a massive amount of money. I used to have Adidas as well and I was going with the top-range boots (I had 50% off becasue of our teamsponsor). I wore those EC '96 and the WC '98 boots, they were already expensive for a normal customer but these new ones are really TOO expensive. 200€ is lots of money, think of what you can buy for that, snowboardboots, a quality guitar, technical snowboard outerwear.... lot's of things.

BTW did anyone notice that Kluivert has been dropped by Adidas. He used to wear the same shoes as Beckham, Raul and every other star from Adidas, but recently he isn't wearing them anymore, he's wearing nikes again. He used to be sponsored by nike back in 96 or so.

Its really cool, you can buy your predators and have them personalised like the pro's by getting your name and number on the tongue.
Talking of pro's switching brands, does anyone know about Patrick Viera's switch to Adidas?
He was with Nike very recently, he was in the cool advertisment before the world cup, and he wore nikes in the world cup.
BUT now he's wearing predators, and in every interview or press conference he has now, he always has adidas clothing on, like hes making a point.
If anyone knows i'd be interested to see what its all about.

p.s. Henry signed a deal today to get paid £9 million pounds over 5 years to wear Nike. woah!
