individual races won by other teams is pretty much inevitable. but i don't see ferrari loosing a whole season with shumacher (spelling?) still there.

From one of the local Aussie newspapers:

*Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone has a way to slow Michael Schumacher down - add a kilo to his car for every point he leads by in the drivers' race.

"If Schumacher is 20 points ahead of Rubens Barrichello, he has to drive a car that's 20 kilos heavier." Ecclestone told German newspaper Bild am Sonntagsaid.

With many complaining Ferrari had stripped F1 of its suspense, Ecclestone pledged "there won't be another season like this. Next year it's going to be a good show again."*

they r certainly not & definitely not the next season too cos barrichello will still be there (and i hope that barichello should be kept in ferrari till he retires . ) do u think that will win comfortably without him ? certainly not . and i hope that barrichello will challenge him next season . but will the ferari management will allow him him to win ? nope . they gave him a win in usa which was not needed at all . he would have been 2nd in the championship even if he would have not won . ferrari are really harsh or i would say "shrewd" with him ......

Bernie Ecclestone doesn't know what hes talking about.

just cause Ferrari is so dominant doesn;t mean u can handicap them in some way just to make the race more interesting. Its not right for the sport...any sport for that matter.

If a team like brazil plays Samoa, u cant tie weights to Ronaldo and company just to make the game entertaining :|

absolutely retarded....what Bernie suggests will never happen.

As for Ferrari - Yes they are Unbeatable. They can't be beaten for at least another 5 seasons....the team chemistry is just too strong. Even if Schumacher retires after 2004, Barrichello and possibly Montoya(who will be at Ferrari when Schumy leaves) will continue in the same fashion. McLaren and Willians will put up more of a challenge...they might win more...but can't sustain enough to win a season ...

I'm pretty sure he meant it in a light-hearted sence...

I mean the Drivers and Manufacturers Championship, not every single race.
