WEll isn't it? A stupid arcade game that is..
I think so..It is soooo unrealistic. I have seen people that say that they find Fifa2000 realistic ( in this forum ).. Good for u cuz I can't see it anywhere or anyhow in this weird game.

For example today I tried to do as some had said about putting the tactic-scale in the middle so the defense wouldn't go high up...no bigger change..the opponents often got free with my golie.

Funny bug: Today when I played the opponents scored but the commentary said "Over the crossbar!" so there was no goal even though I clearly could see the ball fly into the net!!!..

And often the situations were like this:
They shoot- of the goalie-shoots again-of the post- shoots again- of the crossbar!!- and finally the scored after this ping pong game against the goal...( this was when I was playing the Swedish league)

By the way, is there always water on the field( I know it isn't but..) cuz the ball moves very weird and the players move like I don't know what..like f@cked up monkeys or something...

I will try to play it in the nearest future but I'm sooo close on giving up..

Thats it and thats that...

I already gave up. Go back to FIFA 99, and then you will realize how bad FIFA2000 is!

Keep playing FIFA 2000! The stuff you reccon has happened is just bad luck. The AI in FIFA 2000 is much better than in the previous games. The computer can acctually make some inteligent plays instead of waiting to long to pass and then passing to the wrong player. Don't give up yet!!

Well it might be realistic to get consecutive crossbar, goalpost shots, I've seen that happen in real life quite a few times.

But overall I gave up on this game and hope THis is Football comes out soon. I also dont understand where the "realism" of this game is, its easily the least realistic game by EA for its time since FIFA 97.

Polish, Im with you, EA Sports have lost touch. To give you an idea of how far out of touch they are I have been visiting the small forum on the This is Football website. I have also just read the UK Playstation "Greatest Sports Games" edition and in there is an interview with the overal project manager of This is Football, a guy called Dominic Cahalin. Guess what, Dominic reads the This is Football forum, replies to comments, gives tips and tricks and is asking for thoughts on how to improve the sequel. The game has been out maybe two weeks and they want input into how to make the follow up better. I just recieved an email from Dominic today and I wrote back a bunch of my thoughts.
Kind of different to the approach and attitude EA sports treat us to.

If you all intented to upgrade your PC in order for it to be more powerful to support the games especially FIFA.. dun waste your money..

use the money to buy PlayStation n play the Winning Eleven 4 game.. you all won't regret it!!! FIFA2000 really upset me.. I've lost interest in that game after trying it for the 1st time.. what a shame EA Sport..

Winning Eleven is really a football game for us football fans.. way to go KONAMI !!!

I lost interest in FIFA 2000after the second time I played it.

Also when you get customer service like what EA gives you, are you surprised that this game is so bad? I played this computer game "Baldurs Gate" and they also had message boards, and the producers of the game also went to that board to answer questions.

EA's attitude is very bad its like they got you by the you know what since they have no competition and couldnt care less what you think.
