For example: Goalkeepers : Kahn, v/d Sar etc. Defenders : Campbell, Ferdinand, Stam, Carlos, Chivu, etc. Midfielders : Beckham, Zidane, Song, v/d Vaart etc. Forwards : Inzaghi, Kluivert, van Nistelrooy, Raul

personally i think owen is over-rated, for how good everyone says he is i don't think he actually is, and his results on the pitch so far this season reflect that...
roberto carlos would have to be up there cos he is playing well at the moment, same with aimar, henry, del piero, inzaghi, van nistelrooy, buffon, ronaldo (but there should be something on the game that makes him REALLY injury prone):p

In Fifa 2002, there really wasn't the best player, coz we could(can) change the attributes all the time. :o :|
