View Full Version : Feyenoord v Ajax Predictions? Larry 05-10-2002, 02:12:PM Well on sunday (european time) Ajax play Feyenoord at the De Kuip. Who do u think will win? I think Feyenoord will win by 2 goals or more. Zlatan Ibrahimovic was brilliant, a fantastic goal by Wamberto and of course from Jari Litmanen who's back home in Amsterdam. He never lost a game in de Kuip!! I had a ball yesterday when Ajax won with 1-2, those arrogant Feyenoord-supporters sang their songs in the beginning of the match but they were silent in the 2nd half of the game and that's when we sang our clubsong and it echoed through de Kuip. When there are some suppoters who are always arrogant, it will be always Ajax-supporters. Not that I want to defend Feyenoord, but I don't understand it. Zlatan was not briliant, he played good. One of his best matches ever for Ajax. Litmanen missed a lot of chances, to much, but scores one, so it was enough. The goal of Wamberto was beautifull. Te Feyenoord defense was crap, so that was the reason Ajax won I think. Feyenoord is now 6 points behind PSV an Ajax, so from now I think the championsship race goes between Ajax and PSV. About the match: You are right when you say that Zlatan played good but I say that he's getting better and better for Ajax. Litmanen should've scored at least 3 times yesterday pity but Ajax deserved to win, they were more agressive than Feyenoord was and the best team won just as Ronald Koeman said after the game. About the championship: I think that it's a bit too soon to speak of Championships when the season is just on it's way and 6 points is nothing nowadays. I believe that Ajax will go for the championhip again and I'm confident that they will reach the next round in the CL because they can surely beat Inter and Rosenborg at their own turf in Amsterdam! Chivu has a meniscus problem and will be out of the ballgame for 3 to 4 weeks D A M N!! Boukhari had played last sunday against Feyenoord for 60 minutes or something, he came in the field in steed of Wamberto. Boukhari had showed not to much in that match. Silencer, I read that Chivu's injure is not so heavy. He played for 45 mninutes yesterday with Roemenia. Good news for Ajax I think, Chivu is the best defender at this moment in our competition...I think. |
