Hey put your comments on my starting eleven topic but to answer your question. Sherringham is in my opinion still a great striker but he is no threat on his own, its an age thing. He needs providers. Owen doesn't. Shearer and even Heskey can make things happen on their own when neccessary. I can't see a squad place he would take. If four strikers are travelling who do you drop? Owen, Shearer, Heskey, Phillips, Fowler, Cole?
Tough isn't it?
Whoever Keegan leaves out is the one we will all say he should have bought if we don't do well.
