if u'r looking for a budget card get the geforce4 mx 420/440/460 pci.

The Game runs beutiful no problems the graphics are awsome fifa 2003 is the best soccer game in the world and october 25 ill have the full version

I can play it with a 8 MB voodoo3 but i have very bad graphics!

No your MB of RAM is not enough!! You can buy a 256 MB RAM or a 128MB! Then run the game PERFECT !!

fifa is the bollox.it looks great plays great roll on the full game..................

If you are running the older style SDRAM it is as cheap as chips at the moment because of the newer DDR Ram ( you need a motherboard that supports DDR )

I picked up 256mb SDRAM for $65 (Australian) , but make sure you go to the smaller suppliers, not big chains or stores. They all advertise in the main city papers.

You will need a reasonable graphics card (at least 32mb) but extra ram will improve a lot of bottlenecks in your system.

i advise you to get a pc 266 ram if ur motherboard can support it...its cheap and fast

i wanna ask if ram is important in fif2003 and what is the recomended ram?

i have 32Mb TNT2 video card.
the game lags sometimes when i play in the right wing and my goal is on the left. i mean when the ball is near the bottom of the screen. Sometimes it lags a little not a big lag, is it from Ram or Vedio card?????

if you only have a 2x agp. then you woudl probably be better going for a good geoforce 2
rather than a geoforce 4 mx. because if you go for a G4 it isnt going to work to its potential, because you will only be runnign it at 2x agp instead of its 4x agp

i have 2 sytems here

1 = 1800xp
256 ram
g4 ti 4200

other =

athlon 1133
256 ram
geforce 2 mx 400

both on windows xp

and it runs fine on them both

(on the g 2 i turned detaisl down a notch)



in all honesty though you best course of action woudl be to upgrade your mother board first to a 4x agp one

at first that might seem an expensive course of action. but you can get some decent mother baord new for 50 pounds

and they woudl supoort . certainly 4x agp, and up to probably a 2100 xp

if you get the elite K7s5A (which is what im using right now) then you will have the option of using DDR or SDRam

which in my opinion is a great upgrade option

Im running a 450p3 overclocked to 504... with a geforce 4 ti4200, some might say its overkill, but i can run everything at full details with no performance slowdown... Game looks beautiful with 4xAntiAliasing :P

my system is ATHLON XP 1800+ overclcoked to 1900+ from 1533 to 1600.......Using WIN2kpro and ATI Radeon 8500(overclocked) GREAT!

LOL, all of your graphics cards are pathetic ..... my Radeon 9700 pro ****s on all of your put together.

Currently running it on a gf3 Ti500 with a 22" monitor :D

Will probably upgrade once the geforcefx hits the shelves.

Dont dish out for an MX, if your going to buy a new video card you might as well invest in either a g4ti4200 (~100$) or get a newer radeon card, no point in spending 30 dollars for a cheap card that will not even run fifa2004... whereas a geforce4 will be able to run future games for a good while...

if you have big money go for a geforce 4 TI or a radeon 9700, and remember that the ati radeon supports direct x 9............if you're a poor man the better choice are geforce 3 TI or radeon 8500.......these cards are older but far more powerful than geforce 4 MX and radeon 9000..............

i've a radeon 8500/64 (120 euros), i'm very satisfied............i can run fifa 2003 full details at almost every resolution, nhl 2003 and il2 sturmovik even better

Maybe we have the money for a geforce4Ti but we dont have AGP slots xDDD thats why we are trying to buy a geforce 2-4 mx (the best thing when you only have PCI BUS)

BTW my Radoen 9700 pro OC will destroy 2 8500's hands down.

I have one advice.. is better to invest and spend the extra money, than having to buy a new card every year

My card will be the best for atleast 1 year .. so Im not worried.

I agree.. pay that bit extra and go for quality.. it will last u that bit longer.

i got theat graphics card and it runs fifa 2003 smooth even on 1024 and higher reso it cheap and it runs all the best games stop complaning:rockman: :jambo:
