I use a 3-4-3 with the attacking arrow at full.

Well in FIFA 99,
Flat back four
Four across the mid with Lambert playing in behind Berkovic
And two up front

in fifa 2k i use 3-5-2
in fifa 99 i use 4-2-4

I use a variety.
IGM1 3-5-2 Attack arrow at half
IGM2 5-4-1 Attack arrow all the way back
IGM3 3-4-3 Attack arrow full on

In fifa99 I use a 3-4-3.
often when I play in WC mode and they just scored on me, I go with a 4-2-4 or sometime with a 4-1-5 if I'm losing and time is running out. In 2K its a 3-4-3

I use a 4-4-2 formation withwingers and full attack. If you pass to one of your wingers, rocastle his maker and sprint up the wing, you should score 99% of headers after you cross to the far post. I like to dribble the ball around a bit too - it helps add some variety to the game.

FIFA2K rules!!!!

I use a variety of formations, depending on the team or the situation:

IGM 1: 3-4-3 - One striker, sweeper, diamond midfeild. Arrow at 2.
IGM 2: 4-4-2 - Sweeper at back, rest of formation flat. Arrow at 0.
IGM 3: 3-4-3 - Two strikers, Rivaldo as the centre forward, flat midfield, sweeper at back. Arrow at 4.

In F2K:

4-4-2 and on FULL DEFENSE.
Then u get a more realistic defence that doesn't stand so high up in the field..
And u get more realistic scores-not so very easy to score = more fun

I use 4-3-3 with the central midfilder lening towards defense and the central foword on the top. I sometimes do a variation and put 5-3-2 with the yellow arrows for the defender on the right and on the left, with the cenral midfilder leaning towords atack.
