It has recently come to my attention thanks to Yj a mod from soccered.com who has been complain about the mods well he had a discussion; personally I have never come across with a problem with a mod so here Yj gets his wish a poll about the mods

Benefits of this poll is that Mods can get feedback (proper feedback not some newbies that wanna be mods on the first day) and Yj can get back on his soap box and complain and complain.............

im sorry if this comes to a shock to anyone but it had to be done to shut Yj up and yes mods can vote this is a democratic forum not what Yj preaches and yes im obviously not a Mod....

One or two of the Mods seem to have let power go to their heads as of late but all in all I find them very good.

They are helpful, friendly and just strict enough to lay down the law without spoiling anyones fun.

I think SG have got it pretty much just right (apart from not recruiting me, of course). ;)

if you are a mod, but you dont do anything then you are cool.

around this time last year me,ice (later hugo) basically had to deal with the forums on our own, so as you can imagine, we got a large amount of flak and i personally got a fair few nasty PM's... with the mods that have came in i've been away from the spotlight but still do jobs which need to be done.... The mods do a fantastic job, ALL of them, and all those who take cheapshots at them come up and try it... you wouldn't last 5 mins:rolleyes: :f***:

I think it's easy to criticize when you're not aware of the reasons why certain things need to be done.

For example....I see a lot of comments (especially in the Fifa2003 forum) about the mods being a bunch of nazi's against free speech because we delete threads about warez, but if people would ask/read the rules instead of being so quick to label, then you'd know we do it for the good of the forum. Nobody wants to see the SG forums get into legal trouble, or be accused of promoting piracy, or even shut down by vBulletin...

I have nothing against people giving us feedback about how things are done here, but do it properly instead of just saying "the mods here are such a$$holes, etc..."

well i've never had a problem with any of them and i think they all do their jobs well :)

well im having trouble seeing the results as im getting that stupid white screen and im yet to vote..

All in all it looks positive again I have never incounted a problem with a mod (yeah even grassy and callan those were only friendly debates where we discussed politics)

Iceblu thank you for the comment... If you read the 2003 thread about the creation centre and see some newbies and Yj's comments I saw them as being stupid and out-of-order so I continually asked what Yj wanted to prove his point and here it is. I have only visited the 2003 forum like 5 times so when i saw some of the comments I was shocked to say the least

newbies coming in and bagging mods when they claim they dont get freedom of speech ... thats cause they have never heard of anything called rules.

I hate it when people spam, and bag mods in threads on the second post for a new thread ... just trying to stir mods up.

I hate dumb threads that have already been answered, or have nothing to do with the forum at all.

thanks for saying that, what i've contributed is by giving constructive critisms and opinions. Whether you guys heed the advice or not is none of my business.
