I think that the goal physics in 2003 are much better and more relaistic. many people have disagreed, but the way they are "hung" means no "bulging" which is realistic, when the ball hits the back of the net the whole net moves, sides as well
cool!!!

Yeah, very realistic, if youre playing with STEEL nets!!!!
Have you never seen only telly how the ball rolls around the net.
On Fifa 2003 when the ball hits the inside of the side netting it just stops, where as in real life it rolls around the net.
Did you see Beckhams goal on wednesday, well the ball hit the ground outside the netting zone because the net doesnt just stop the ball immediatley. The net has a certain amount of strecthiness because its not hung really tight, so when the ball hits the net it will carry on its course until the net cant go any further, then the ball will be pulled by gravity but the ball will still be forcing against the net so it doesnt go backwards (like in fifa 2003).

realistic my foot...
Tho' its better than the previous fifa versions (the animations are way too exageratting), do you ever see a ball bounce back after it has gone into the goal in real life?

The final X-Box version that I played had very nice animated nets. More effort has gone into that version.

Oh, man... nets...
The most important thing in any football game.
NOT.
Gameplay is repetitive, boring, players do automatic headers and Zidane is invisible to Arsenal defenders.
