Sorry, I didn't even play 1 whole game against the A.I. All my games were against people. At first there was a 2 controller set-up, which was good, but then some guy, who I was talking to said it would be cool to have 2-on-2 games, so he went and got 2 other controllers, which was brilliant.

But for that I DID see a man concede a goal against the A.I, in which he was against Madrid and they scored just outside the box.

But if you've read the TOTAL-GAMES xbox review, then you'll see that the new game enegine has the XBOX in mind all the way, so maybe it will play better on that then the other consoles...it certainly looks better anyway!

Can you tell me why the X-Box looks better?? I mean, mostly the PC Graphic are the best!! I read they used bump-mapping and anti-aliasing for the shirts etc??

I mean, with the PC I can turn on ANTI-ALIASING as well...

The PC graphic cards of today can do Bump Mapping and ehhanced textures, but EA don't use them for the PC version, they restrict it, so that nearly anyone who plays the game doesn't need to buy a new graphics card that can do Bump Mapping. EA could easily put in more graphic options though!

Not only does the XBOX have LOADS of effects that the Geforce 3-4 can do (but won't use in FIFA 2003 anyway!), but EA have managed to increase the quality of the textures FOUR TIMES more then any other platform, that been Gamecube, PS2 and the PC. I won't even bother mentioning Playstation and GBA, lol.

Yep, the XBOX version looks stunning and plays the part!!

So, basically no matter what PC graphics card you have, you can only improve on the graphic effects that EA have allowed FIFA 2003 to use on the PC, which sadly is NO WHERE near the amount of effects that the XBOX version has had put in!! :hump:

I watched the movies and the graphics done look that much better than PC. I suppose it all depends on what vid card you have.
HEy nick, is the netting physics in these movies the same as the version you played? because they dont look any different to the demo.

Hey guy, EA has said that the game for xbox is the best version on all platforms. EA built fifa2003 with xbox in mind, and Nic, has said that even with a great vid card, the game doesn't suport those options.

show me where ea said that. they don't give a damn about xbox. ps2 sells about 20fold mor ethan either xbox or gamecube, so when a company makes a multiplatform game they concentrate on the most important one, being th eps2.

The gamecube graphics are pretty good, definetely better than pc, but I noticed the graphics not very realisitc, the graphics look... there is no word to express this... they look so nintendo style, it looks like if I am watching a cartoon, hope xbox is not the same, but it looks pretty fun.

Does anyone knows if there are xbox movies out there? Cause I really would like to see 'em. I want to look at the movies to see if I like the graphics like to buy the game.

Mate, I too don't want to start an argument, but when I went to the GAME XBOX-promo I was given a disk (DVD) which featured all kinds of XBOX promotions with XBOX video footage, but also some interviews from the designers/programmers of games companies that design games for all formats. The interview was only about XBOX and PC.

The man in the interview (who works for Lionhead Studios) said that when he designs a game for the PC he doesn't know what that person has in his computer, so they can't start putting in all these super graphics effects and stuff, things like that. He then says when he designs a game for the XBOX he knows exactly what it is capable of, so they push it more and MAKE it look better then the PC. This means that only so much graphical quality can be increased by buying a new graphics card. You won't start activating all the features and effects that the card can do, cause it ISN'T programmed to do it. He says something like this anyway.

This is what happens with FIFA 2003 on XBOX and PC, as the XBOX has had more effetcs pushed into it, well I was told this by some expert at the XBOX promo, who went around telling everyone about the hardware of the XBOX. So, if I upgraded from my Geforce3 TI500 to a Geforce 4 and put in my FIFA 2002 game, what enhancements will I see? F*CKING NONE! Nothing noticeable anyway, as the game just DOESN'T use up NO WHERE near as much power as what these cards a capable of. FIFA 2003 will use more power, but still, the cards don't use all the new effects that these latest graphic cards can do.

By the way, this is why PC's and consoles are different. Consoles focuse on nothing more then games, PC's have a lot more to take care of and this is why the XBOX looks better at the moment.

Have you actually played the XBOX version? NO! I am sorry, but I have the bigger say in this, with playing both and all. :) Wait till' you play both and don't kid yourself, you WILL see the difference JUST LIKE I DID. I won't lie to you, I went in thinking that if they have the XBOX version of the game on show, it won't look THAT much better then the PC. Well, I was wrong. :hump:
