If you look at the FF2003 demo closely, you will see a file called ...data\dplyrtex.big. Opened with EAgraph, you will see a file called:
PlayerTexObj.texobj11__texture1020305845__421.fsh (phew!).
This file in turn contains a file called clet which is the red boots that Robert Pires can be seen wearing in the game. It therefore follows that if ...421.fsh refers to Pires, you need only to determine which number refers to which player, duplicate the above-mentioned file, change the relevant numbers to select that player, then insert the boot graphic of your choice, and add it to dplyrtex.big! . Simple!
(Or is it??)

Billie Jean is not my lover...
She's just a girl who says that :jambo: is the one...

Well, I also knew that, and managed to try to change the boots, but if you do change, the game crashes or doesn't even change them.

BTW, it's "Billie Jean, Is not my lover
She's just a girl who claims I'm the one" :jambo:

Apart from the fact that the bad artist has eaten the names and numbers off my kits (the 'baked' file I got removed my rainbow colours only!) I don't have any problem with changing boots. Look at this pic, that's Van Nistelrooy wearing yellow Puma boots, with the other players wearing black puma's with yellow trim. A picture is worth a thousand words, right? I used EA graph to import the pics, didn't extract any files or anything...
...so HAH! (lol) :brow:

Real Madrid is wearing my Jamaica kit...
doesn't look half-bad in the game, does it?

Very interesting finding, maybe now we can add more than 12 boots.

www.fifakorea.net has a boots patch for ff2k3 that you might find interesting. They used this format that I have mentioned to add boots to the game.
PlayerTexObj.texobj11__texture1020305845__421.fsh etc.
And I used them in the demo without even adding them to the dplyrtex.big file! You might want to check them out...
Cheers!

...if you can't d/l the file (others have had this problem, incuding me!) you can try this link: http://members.ams.chello.nl/a.tejedor/zooi/fifa2003_boots.zip
Some nice chap uploaded it so we could get it!

has anyone find out hoe can I for example add the white nike shoes that Ferdinand uses to Totti.. or the red adidas that Becks use to Rui cOsta and Del Piero???
This would make the game excellent

I think the player's boots that FifaKorea editted already had different boot settings, the guy @ FifaKorea just replaced the boot textures.

Dude, I`m probably the first guy who donloaded it, and I`m also the first guy who tell everyone here that there`s a boot patch at FIFA KOREA. But you see, the problem is I can`t find any PlayerTexObj.texobj11__texture1020305845__***.fsh file in the dplyrtex.big using EAgraph. What interest me is that you`re able to change Ruud`s boots by simply changing the last three number to his ID ( in the demo ), but in the full version, I tried to do the same with Beck`s Adidas to be worn by del Piero, I change 104 to 390, it doesn`t work. Someone tell me that boots are somehow attached to the face file, can anyone explain this more clearly ?

Hans
20-11-2002, 03:19:AM
OK, I`ve found it using the Find Graphic options. The idea for individual boots, right now probably it can only be implemented to players with spesific faces. The PlayerTexObj.texobj11__texture1020305845__104.fsh contains a boot for Beckham whose face number is 104, and so does the other boots from FIFA Korea and EA has originally assign different coloured boots to them. But how do we add a PlayerTexObj.texobj11__texture1020305845__xxx.fsh to a player say Campbell whose face number is 103 ? By simply changing the xxx to 103 doesn`t give any effect. So in some way we have to relate player 103 to the PlayerTexObj.texobj11__texture1020305845__103.fsh file so he will wear that boots. Does any of you found any link between faces and boots, is it editable ? Perhaps I`m gonna E-mail Ariel about this, he`s the master, I believe he could solve this.

E-mailing Ariel sounds like the right thing to do, he could probably make a tool for this too!!
