I have just been reading an article about FHM magazine in Australia, which has just run a 'humorous' look at the Hillsborough tragedy where many Liverpool fans lost their lives. I am not even going to waste my time writing the sorts of things they said, other than to say they had photos accompanied by 'funny' (yeah right) captions. Which is going to give the magazine an extremely bad name in many places. Has anyone seen this? I reckon that if there are any football fans out there that purchase this magazine, then there should be a boycott until the publishers make an official apology accompanied by some sort of donation or similar. Any thoughts?

Wow, that's really sad. Buying an FHM for the pictures. Oh lord. I'll help you out here, Playboy's got a few better ones.

i think they are making a donation to the fund for the families of the victims

that was a sick mistake using those photos for that purpose

guess that is 2/2 then. reckon they should fire the sick phuck who thought it would be funny too. the trouble with the media is, every time they lower the standards of good taste, someone else has to go and try and better it. (or worsen it, if you know what I mean)

nothing in comparison to the Hillsborough loss, but a similar prank was pulled in Major League baseball this year in the US. Idiot DJ calls the widow of St. Louis pitcher Daryl Kile and asks who she's bringing to the game that nite.....some people's humour is almost criminal.

media believe bad publicity is good publicity because it gets the magazine on TV and Radio which then becomes free publicity
