when i open a zip file the language is not english. it is alot of letters and symbols that don't mean anything to me. please help. thanks.

Alrighty then... If you haven't done so, try downloading WinZIP from www.winzip.com for starters.

If you have a program that can read ZIP files, then it might just be a different language you're looking at.

If the above doesn't solve the problem, I have no idea what could be wrong. But my guess is you don't have a program to unZIP ZIP files... So try downloading that WinZIP...
