SWOS is the best football game ever made and it is still going strong with loads of sites online and lots of tournaments going on.

I Understand that for some people the Graphics on SWOS make them not want to play this classic but i love the little SWOS Players :) they are cool but the main feature of a good game is Gameplay and SWOS clearly has the best gameplay ever the abilty to just knock the ball around with ease not worrying if your power bar is to far up (like in FIFA & ISS) also another great feature on SWOS is the AMAZING amout of teams and leagues avalible to use (e.g. El Savladorian 3rd Division side Racing Junior) also the famous Career mode which lets you play/manage any team for 20 seasons (if you wish you can change clubs & if your really good an International side will call for you) and also you can make your own tournaments and save your highlights, if anybody is put of by the Game Data being old seeing as the last SWOS was in 96/97 dont worry there are Updates avalible on some SWOS sites also the is a very easy to use Editor avalible

Unfortunatly a NEW SWOS seems like it will never be made as Codemasters who brought Sensible Software seem to have little intrest in SWOS which is a shame because im sure if SWOS were to be re-released in the future it would sell very well and put presure on EA and other game companys to improve there games

Well if you want to download SWOS you can find it at www.the-underdogs.org

and if you want to visit my SWOS site the URL is : www.ukswos.2ya.com <- you should find every thing you need her if not just check out my links page which has links to loads of SWOS sites

Sensible World of Soccer - the only game you need :)

Online tourneys?
I'll check it out, just for fun, but I think i've played it before and nothing can touch Winning Eleven.

I can get it workign with the Megadrive emulator, but not with winUAE, which I want to play with (online).

Can you give me some help?
I think I have all the files.
One I choose the kick file, I'm not sure what to do from there, Key file? Extended Rom file? don't think I have those.
Thanks.

Man, Sensible Soccer is nice, but Winning Eleven just beats it, imo.

whoa ! :o SWOS 96/97 has 1997 teams in it !! :jambo:

I never play it, but from the customers' reviews, it looks pretty damn cool, man. (Y)

Too bad WE/PES series don't have so many teams. But, the WE gameplay & its editing mode make me spend days & days to play them. :$
