Just wondering if anyone has played the Lord of the Rings games yet? I'm dying to try them out!!!

I watched a little promo "show" about it that came with the DVD and it looks awsome from what I've seen :)

I saw pics of The Two Towers and its great! it goes like the movie and the grafix are really cool

any1 has that game.. cuz i think i am going to buy it.. any ideas/comments?

I played Two Towers: ****ing awesome, apparantely better than the first. (though they came out at the same time:crazyboy: )

Unfortunately I dont have a PS2, but I tried out the game at a Sony exhibit recently and all I have to say is that the game is SWEET!

The Pc version is visualy good, but the gameplay is er, yawn. --:hump:

It is pretty much a hack-n-slash game=>You try to cut down everything in your way.

I played "LOTR:The Two Towers" on PS2...I thought it was a nice game, but way too short, you can pretty much button-bash through it in about 8 hrs or so..

Anyone got the PC version of "the fellowship"

im up to the level called "A knife in the dark" and Aragon is trying to kill or distract the dark horses problem is they are unstopable and i only have half a life left - how do i do it.

Opinions are like a$$holes, everyone's got one and they all stink. Besides, what other movie has come out this year that's worth anything?

Just out of curiosity, does anyone here play Adventure games (think, Gabriel Knight, Discworld, etc) or does everyone just go for Action and Sport games?

I have played a cross section of games over the past few years --A few rts ones but mainly Football games and Adventure ones.

The Longest Journey.

I have the game for the Nintendo Gamecube. It's pretty good! I really like it and have already beaten it witn Aragorn and Gimli. It goes with the movie and every once in a while, it would just switch to a scene in the movie and play it. It has good graphics and pretty good gameplay. The Lasting Appeal is not that big though, but it lasts enough and is worth buying it. That is what I think, your opinions may be different.

ive played the ps2 version of ttt a few times and found it a pretty good game..

Played it on PS/2. Good movie crossover but a bit short.

I've played LOTR:The Two Towers on XBOX.It really bored me to death.I would play it if I had nothing else to do.

wow, this thread really died, anyways after a year, i'm going to keep it going. I bought the return of the king game, and its AWESOME!!!

yeah i borrowed return of the king from a friend...it is very good game , can be hard sometimes..

its easy if you know what to do, if you dont it might take you some time.

I've finished fellowship on pc (sucks)
and finished LOTR return of the king!

Rotk rocks!! I play co-op with my sister! I unlocked faramir have 20 level legolas. It's ******* great!

As much as I hate Lord of the Rings with a passion, this game is very good after playing it with my mate on Co-Op.

yeah im still stuck on the decision of buying the two towers or medal of honor rising sun they both look great

The new Medal of Honour I have heard is well, crap compared to the 1st so I am sticking with Need for Speed Underground.

ROTK was pretty average for me...

I mean it's really repetitive just clicking on a mouse after a while...

The bonus interviews/movie footage was awesome though :D

I going to get ROTK for XBox it looks great! for ones who have played any LOTR games do you have to finish the game with one player, or can you switch up who you play as? Also does the AI help you out, does the AI control Legolas while the human plays as aragorn for example?

You can switch to who you play as. There are three routes the one for hobbits(sam and frodo), the one for kings (aragorn, gimli & legolas) and one for wizard (Gandalf). You can choose wot route u want to play in aswell.

so e.g if u play the routes of kings, u can choose aragorn or gimli or legolas, u can change player if u want. if u are aragorn, the AI controls others gimli and legolas.

As far as i can remember King of the Dead is the first level in the route of the king. For wizard is going to Isengberg, he is helped by the trees monsters-cant remember the name

hope it makes sense, if dont understand just ask

It is, when i got stuck on that level, i started playing different route. I havent got the game but i borrowed from my friend for one week.

im stuck on the king of the dead part... that mofo just wont die... i tried playing against him with aragorn level 3, and legolas level 3, got him in the red a couple of times, but he just wouldnt die... :kader:

arrrrrrghhhh im pissed off...i have the game...but my computer is too ****e...:(:(:(

the king guy is easy to kill its the chase out what is ***in hard
